The Home Remedy

Home remedies were Chinese traditional custom. They were usually used by elder parents or grandparents because there were no synthetic medicines in the past. Currently, some parents still believed the home remedy for illness cured. Chinese home remedies are including that eat the nature plant; have the wine which soaked plans and Chinese medicines; massage the body for muscled relaxed.
My son had got Eterovirus when he was 3 years old. One of the feature was the sore throat. We took him to see the doctor several times but his sore throat was not cured . The sore throat made him hard to swallow any foods and sleep well. My mother found out that a neighbor who has planted the pogostemon cablin, and then she got some leaves of pogpstemon cablin back. She put leaves and some salt in the bowl and used the spoon to press them becoming juice. Next, she fed my soon with juice of pogostemon cablin twice per day. After one day, my son started to eat a little food. The 2nd day, he could drink and sleep well. The 3rd day, he was cured completely.
My elder sister had the wine which soaked plants and Chinese medicines for muscle pain. A traffic accident led to her arm broken couple years ago. After several months, her arm was healed completely but there were still muscle pain in her arm. In that time, my elder brother had soaked the wine with the plant which was the Eleutherococcus Senticosus and some Chinese medicines. This kind of wine is that we called “Medicine-Wine”. She had drunk Medicine-Wine for a month. Finally, the muscle pain left her arm.
Most Chinese knew that the Gua-Sha was like massaging muscles. It needs to use a tool to scratch skin. If the same area skin was scratched repeatedly, the blood capillary will be broken and then let muscle relax.In traditional Chinese medicine science, Gua-Sha will let blocked blood capillary be unobstructed; it also will mean “Chi” which Chinese called is unimpeded, but I had heard a news that Gua-sha hurt somebody's nerves because the force of Gua-Sha was too heavy.
Home remedies were not bad to us. However, there were not science experiments to approve how to use for illness cured in the past. If it was used appropriately, that will be helpful for illness healed. Currently, some of scientists started to research home remedy what kind of substances in material or how quantity is good to the body of human and so on. In the future, I think scientists can approve and keep helpful traditional Chinese home remedy.

It Is an Important Decision That I Come The University of LongHwa for Studying English

English is an international language,so we can use it for traveling anywhere, negotiating for business, communicating foreign people and so on. It is trend that 21 century was belong Chinese but Chinese also need English to connect to all over the world. Therefore, I made a decision which came the university of LongHwa for studying English because English can let me communicate with customer well and the person who can speak English is very import after China was focused.
English can let me communicate with customer well. My job is project management which communicate among customers, sales, R&Ds, factories and so on. Especially, I need to understand what is customer's requirement, and then I can transfer customer's meaning to each departments of company so English ability is very important for me. Go to school that is not easy on Saturday and Sunday. Due to my wife supporting, I have studied English more one year at the university of LongHwa. Although I don't have enough time to study English, I have to go to school and get some English leaning every week. One day, my colleague told me your English was improved very much because I can simply talk with our customer in the phone and write correct grammar in mail. This event encouraged me to learn English and talk foreign customers confidently.
The person who can speak English is very important after China was focused. A lot of people think China is good environment for investment because there is resource, manpower, low tax and so on. One of reasons is that China has many people totally who can speak English. If the company is established in China and want to link to all over world, employees need to have the ability of speaking English. We live in Taiwan and face high unemployed rate. If we don't have English speaking ability, we can’t compete with China. Among customers of our company, Motorola has a factory in Tanjin; Microsoft has a company in Beijin and ShanChen; Thomson has a company in Beijin too. Taiwan had lost many kinds of competitive conditions. If Taiwanese lose English ability which can connect to all over world, Taiwan future will be bad, and then we will through China to deal with business.
Why I made a decision which come the university of LongHwa for studying English. I have got setback in my job because my English is poor led to badly communicating with customer. Therefore, I try to find the way to improve my English. I have been to survey some language schools but class time is in evening. I can't catch the classes after work. The other hand, I don't have the bachelor degree. I made final decision which come the university of LongHwa for studying English. I would like to learn more English and get degree.
